Can you go the Distance?
The Chevron City to Surf for Activ is back for 2017. “But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part, for a hero’s strength is measured by his heart” (Disney’s Hercules). We need you to go the distance by honouring the heritage of City to Surf and fundraising for Activ.
To create a personalised Everyday hero fundraising page, follow the prompts to choose your charity and then share your page with family and friends to gain their support. Please give generously to Activ to help people living with disability live the life they choose.
What we have achieved
The History of Activ Foundation and City to Surf
Activ Foundation established the City to Surf as a fundraising event in 1975, with its inaugural event attracting around 500 people. On its 40th anniversary, the Chevron City to Surf for Activ became the second largest officially timed race in the Southern Hemisphere with 48,121 participants and many thousand more volunteers, spectators and supporters taking part.
During 23 July to 27 August 2017, over 40,000 people are expected to participate in Chevron City to Surf for Activ events across Albany, Geraldton, Karratha, Busselton & Perth registering for a 4km or 12km walk or run, 4km wheel chair, 21km half marathon or 42km marathon. Please go the distance by honouring the history of fundraising for Activ and giving generously.
Your contribution will help adults and children living with disability to access quality care and supported accommodation and employment services so they can live the life they choose. Together, we can go the distance.
